Interview with Teresa Saffold
1.What gets you out of bed in the morning i.e., What is your source of motivation?
My drive for creativity and self development. I love to explore what this life has to offer and to uncover what I am made of. Helping people do the same is my passion
2.What made you realize you would want to do this ?
I’ve always had a yearning to be in business for myself. It was a world I was intrigued by. I finally came across something I was interested in enough to go all in and I thought would be a good business venture. I then started my journey with the help of a mentor. As I went along in Entrepreneurship, I continued to uncover more sections in my life that showed me I was meant for this.
3.Why should people choose you / your product / service ?
Because of my relentlessness to serve them. I want to help others and I have a strong sense of excellence. I also have a very low tolerance for excuses. When someone works with me, they will be ignited with my passion.
4.What comes first for you, money or emotions?
I can not say one over the other, because it depends on the catalyst. If we are comparing it to the love of my children, then emotions, but if we are comparing it to firing a bad hire, the money.
5.Tell me about an accomplishment you are most proud of.
I am most proud of actually becoming a fulltime business owner. I feared where I am today for many years. I couldn’t fathom how people could live without a routine paycheck. This journey has been the BIGGEST blessing to myself. I’ve really learned who I am. Not many people can say that.
6.How do you handle the pressure?
Breath and Pray. Anxiety can get the best of an Entrepreneur and your mental health is more important than anything else. Finding your ground is of high necessity. Pressure is assured, so you might as well plan for those moments.
7.What advice would you give to someone starting out ?
Practice discipline early. Record every step of the way. Partner with Great People. I have so many lessons for people who are just starting out. I guess they need to go get my book, ” 100 Commandments for the Millennial Entrepreneur ” to read them all!
8.What impact do you seek to make ?
I want to be the reason someone not only fears and does it anyway, but also succeeds. If my name is on it, success is the goal.
